Spraying one (1) butt-ton of leave-in conditioner on my hair in the morning is definitely the trick to having happy curls instead of sad dry scraggle, for sure. Selfie also features new-to-me sparklejewelry, woo!

I still don’t have the hang of Thursdays. It’s the day I don’t start work until noon, and I end up not getting home till sometime between 7-8. I have to be up at 6am to get the Spawn out the door to school, though, and so 7:30am hits and I am suddenly hit with a house of quiet and a swath of time to use.

I have already paid the two bills what must get paid for this pay period, and am now in the process of trying to wrangle my remaining available monies into one location so that when my car goes into the shop tomorrow I can not only pay for the oil change, but also WTFever problem it is that they tell me is causing that rattle at idle. A friend suggested a loose heatshield, which is definitely An Issue For This Model, but it sounds more to me like it is either something disconnected or perforated somewhere in the muffler/exhaust system.

I’m going to have to run to one bank to grab some monies to deposit in another bank.

Coffee first.

Oh what I'd do for a swath of time with nothing pressing to do, for reasons. Car problems are NO FUN. I hope it's something minor. That's a huge pain in the keister, running cash between banks like that. I've mostly eliminated that from my life now, but yeah, I feel you.

I feel marginally better today, but that could be the drugs.

GL with the car stuffs and the money stuffs.

This week is taking f o r e v e r. I just want to sleep.

I gotta DM on Sunday and have nothing prepared. I'm working from an official adventure, but my party made no decisions as to next steps when we left off. So...I guess it'll be a seat of my pants kind of session.

Good morning!

Coffee and remembered dry socks, but I am feeling poorly. Spent yesterday afternoon home sleeping off a cold and I may have to again today.

Enjoy the down time and hopefully car will just be noisy and not broke broke when looked at.

Still coffeeing, 'ning. Stoopid hubby got me up early, and then it took me awhile to fall back asleep. Intending to sleep only another couple of hours turned into sleeping for 4. Bleargh!

Moving monies. Oh yeah, right. Gotta get my butt in gear and go do errands. Including moving some monies into the pockets of the local business what provides hubby's shoes.

Hullo Bliss. Hairs look fabu. Jealous.

Hoping for the heat shield. Generally that's a very quick fix requiring at most MAYBE one (1) weld and/or perhaps the attachment of some kind of metal strap. I've had several cars with iffy heat shields and that has never cost more than thirty dollars ($30).

I never did understand the legalese that requires numbers like two (2), three (3), or one hundred thirty-seven (137) to include their Arabic counterparts in parentheses after the written out number, nor why it was never done in reverse, which like writing out checks is more error prone. But I'm glad to see it persist in others' writing even though I don't understand its provenance.
