I have some running around to do before work this morning, and therefore I shall be brief:

• The suspension is over and lad has returned to school
• Trick or treating was a success all around
• The job posting turns out to be senior level and Bosslady and I agree I'm not there yet
• Today I will vote
• There is a NaNoWriMo community at nanowrimo  and y'all who are nanoing should join me there; I just commented on the most recent entry, which is basically What Genre Are You Writing In?
• I have not Drunkblogged in ages. Perhaps this weekend, as long as my wordcount is on track?

Hi Bliss. I see you saw.

I had trouble with that scene, trying to find her personality, and conveying the D&D feel of it. I wrote and came back to it a couple three times. Still not sure how I feel about it. But I'm glad you liked it.

Back to work today, end of month busy busy.

I saw, and I like her. There's a D&D feel, but it's not tropey; she's not going on the assumption of Weird Creature Equals Bad. Of course, then they jumped her and battle had to happen...
