Sunday morning reminded me why I should not, on Saturday nights, mix wine with the concoction that Secret Agent Lover Man calls Grownup Hot Chocolate. OhmyZod. It is so cozy and tasty, but man! I was headachey and dehydrated as all heck yesterday morning.

We had a nice day nonetheless, with post-breakfast dozing and cuddling in bed, followed by dropping off a bunch of things at the thrift shop, home from which I cam with two new dresses and a teacup and saucer. I need to pick up a cheapie razor today because one of the new dresses needs some depilling, but other than that there's nothing wrong with it in the least. I also need a replacement shower curtain. DOLLAR STORE, I HOPE YOU ARE OPEN!

Youngest Spawn has an appointment this afternoon, but aside from that my day is pretty open. I had an editing job land in my lap this week, and I knocked it out this morning. It was one of those jobs I almost feel guilty getting paid for because the story was so much fun. XD

Time to do some crocheting and watch some Blacklist and sip some coffee and be okay with not doing too much because it's a holiday and I should take advantage of the children's sleepingness while I can.

Hello, Blisstopia.<3

Missed you over the weekend.

Dreamt we met Saturday morning. You were taller, and gave a good hug. Then my ex showed up and it was weird.

Blisse made some new friends yesterday. Saved their butts a couple times.

Taller than I know you are intellectually. You were still shorter than me, but more like 3-4 inches instead of the 7-9 I think it is.

I love the sound of a slow lazy morning -- in theory: I am in for few if any of those this week.

Our schools got the day off on the 2nd, weirdly enough, but I didn't get to sleep I'm, because someone had a band event.

2 hours away.

They performed at 8.

They needed time to load buses, eat breakfast, unload, get into uniforms.

Drop-off was at 3AM. Well, 3:15, but the section leader likes everyone to be 15 minutes early all the time.

Guess who got up before 2 to make it all happen?

And then, after the afternoon pickup, had to drop off again 2 hours later because they had a freakin' game that night.

All this to say, I envy you your chance to have a lazy morning yesterday.

I went back to bed around 4 and slept past 8, but I did not accomplish much that day. Maybe some laundry, and I might have gone to the grocery store.

I saw part of the game and took her home afterward. That was intense.

Oh, I won't have to put her hair up for the first 2 playoff games! Whew!
